Ongoing issues¶

2026-04-30 08:00:00 to 2026-04-30 16:30:00 A critical vulnerability in all Linux distributions has been disocvered. To prevent any further possible damage and to apply all needed measures login was deactivated to all of our systems. This includes VSC4, VSC5 and MUSICA at all three sites.
2026-04-12 to 2026-04-16 A broken switched caused all central services to collapse, preventing access to any of our clusters or services.
2026-03-02 08:00 to 2026-03-05 12:00 planned downtime of MUSICA
2025-21-11 15:20 to 15:58 CEST VSC4 login problems. Routes to ESS nodes were missing.
2025-18-11 11:00 to 23:50 CEST VSC4 was down. Due to a broken down deployment node, all VSC4 compute nodes became unavailable.
2025-11-10 13:00 to 2025-11-11 16:00 CEST: GPFS filesystem maintenance. Extended to 2025-11-12 16:15 CEST due to a persistent error.
2025-10-24 to 2025-10-26: Network issues forced us to take VSC-4 down to ensure the function of VSC-5.
2025-10-17 from 14:20 to 15:10 CEST: Login problems, slow/unable to login VSC5.
2025-10-16 from 13:45 to 14:50 CEST: Login problems, unable to login into VSC4 and VSC5.
