Here you find a description of the ASC system architecture.

Austrian Scientific Computing (ASC) is a collaboration of several Austrian universities that provides supercomputer resources and technical support to their users.

The current flagship system of the ASC family is MUSICA (Multi-Site Computer Austria), having reached place 50 on the TOP500 list. The system's compute resources are distributed across three locations: in Vienna, Innsbruck, and Linz. The two previous systems, VSC4 and VSC5 are also still in operation.

All systems are powering science and research at the leading academic institutions in Austria, and fulfill the demand for high computing power in the areas such as physics, chemistry, meteorology, life sciences, and many others.
