Login

MUSICA uses Single Sign On (SSO) for login on all services.

Note

Make sure that you have completed account creation and that you are member of an active project with compute resources before trying to login!

SSH

You can login to the MUSICA cluster via SSH. In order to provide a SSO user experience for our new services, we changed the way users login to MUSICA over VSC4 and 5.

We provide two alternative ways, both providing a password less authentication via your universities auth portal. One requires no extra software and can even be used on untrusted devices. The second one uses a small utility program called step which provides a secure certificate based login.

Trust our SSH Certificate Authority (CA) on your system

We sign our SSH host keys with our SSH CA. This improve security and removes the need to trust every single host key. Please add the following line to your .ssh/known_hosts
